are some of the training resources that are available to area employers.
A business-led system: The

driver of the workforce development system.
Workforce Development Councils listen

WorkSource provides up-to-date information
to businesses on resources and tax incentives that boost the
bottom line.
WDC's and WorkSource offer
customized training packages to new businesses or to upgrade the
skills of the current workforce.
On-The-Job Training
If you're interested in hiring an applicant who doesn't quite meet your entry-level needs,
you may be eligible for a 50 percent reimbursement of wages by agreeing to train the
applicant on the job. Funds may also be available to purchase needed tools, clothing or
other support directly related to the applicant's success. Contact the
